The Arctic Explorer has daily images from four satellites, a three hourly surface forecast of the next six days provided by the Global Forecast System (GFS). Included are also maps of daily sea ice thickness and concentration. The interface features a split view to compare day by day or year by year changes and the projection covers the northern hemisphere from Chikago to Ulan Bator and from Barrow to Barcelona.
